Position: Business Development Executive (BDE)
Position summary:
We are looking for a resilient, empathetic, Business Development Executive to contribute to the growth of our company. You will be responsible for finding and retaining clients, encouraging extant clients to purchases our products and services, keep a close eye on clients’ feedback to ensure that our prices, products and services always exceed their expectations.
We are looking for someone who is business oriented with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethics, sales skills, and knowledge of the local tendering processes and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Contact and Qualify potential customers
- Familiarize yourself with all products/services offered by Rwandadeals
- Set appointments and follow up on leads
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities to the business
- Work closely with management to close deals of customers.
- Follow up on Customers’ orders and ensure effective delivery
- Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
- Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
- Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
- Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
- Remaining in tune with trends in local market prices to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
- Follow up customers and their complaints; ensuring that customer’s requests are attended to accordingly complaints and inquiries
- Establish and monitor the standards for customer service in the company.
- Identify tasks critical to keeping customer satisfaction levels
- Network with various departments and groups that are involved in customer support, orders, and processing.
- Ensure maximized productivity and minimized costs
- Encourage and motivate team members for continuance of quality service delivery
Requirements and qualifications
- Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
- Extensive sales experience.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Professional yet affable disposition.
- Neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Great networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
- Emboldened by challenges.
