CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR PRINTING SERVICES

Printing of YAhealth Magazine, Club Manual, and Club Handbook

Community Health Boosters (CHB) is a pioneering youth-led organization dedicated to creating digital health technologies and youth-friendly learning tools that empower young individuals, amplify their voices, and enhance their opportunities. Founded in 2019 at the University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, CHB collaborates with young people to co-create inclusive digital solutions, low-tech games, magazines, and services that enrich their lives. Our Human-Centered Design approach fosters an environment where the ideas of young people can flourish into reality – where informed young people actively address issues affecting their lives.

CHB’s mission is to promote and enrich the holistic well-being of young people through youth-friendly means. We advocate for youth-friendly services and strive to improve access to information that aids in informed decision-making and adopting healthier behaviors.

Towards furthering this cause, CHB is seeking qualified printing company to print essential educational materials that support adolescent health education in schools. These materials include the YAhealth Magazine, Health Club Manual, and Club Handbook, which play a vital role in equipping upper primary school students, especially girls, with essential knowledge and life skills.

Overview of the Materials

The YAhealth Magazine is a quarterly publication designed to educate and empower adolescent girls. Developed using a Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach, it provides an engaging platform for young readers to access reliable health information, share experiences, and find inspiration from role models. By using a visually appealing and relatable format, the magazine aims to enhance adolescent knowledge on critical topics such as sexual and reproductive health, mental well-being, and personal development.

The Adolescent Health Club Manual is a structured guide developed to support the effective delivery of adolescent health education through school clubs. CHB, in collaboration with various stakeholders, developed this manual to provide clear guidance for teachers and facilitators leading health club activities.

The Club Handbook is a complementary resource designed to support students participating in school health clubs. It serves as a practical tool that enables adolescents to actively engage in club activities and apply their learning beyond club sessions.

By printing and distributing these materials, CHB aims to enhance the effectiveness of school health clubs, ensuring that adolescent girls are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their health, education, and future.

CHB invites qualified printing companies to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to print these materials in line with the required quality standards.
