COPEDU LTD was registered as a Microfinance Company in Rwanda Development Board (RDB) on February 21, 2013, with a certificate to perform microfinance services by the Central Bank of Rwanda (BNR) on 13th/03/2014. On 25th/01/2019, COPEDU LTD changed its name to COPEDU PLC following the provisions of Law N ° 17/2018 of 13/04/2018 governing commercial companies. This means that COPEDU PLC is a Public Limited Company that can call on the public for investments as shares.

COPEDU PLC invites all qualified and capable candidates to apply for the following vacant positions:

Credit Analyst

General Description:

The Credit Analyst assesses the repayment capacity and collateral of clients or companies seeking loans and determines the conditions of the loan.

Task Descriptions:

  • Receive and analyze credit files;
  • Assess the creditworthiness of applicants and define repayment capacity;
  • Monitor risks associated with proposed credit;
  • Determine solvency and define repayment capacity;
  • Present and defend credit files before the credit committee;
  • Follow up on credit disbursements;
  • Visit collateral before making recommendations;
  • Provide opinions on credit files;
  • Implement credit policies and procedures;
  • Produce periodic reports;
  • Perform other tasks assigned by superiors.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit management.
  • Proficiency in microfinance products and procedures.
  • Mastery of financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficient in computer tools related to credit analysis.
  • Organized, meticulous, and rigorous.
  • Methodical, responsive, and comfortable with numbers.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High integrity and ethical conduct.
