EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – ENGAGING POTENTIAL LOCAL PARTNERS FOR POULTRY VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT

World Vision is an international Christian, child-focused, and community-empowering organization operating in Rwanda since 1994. It delivers both Humanitarian Emergency Affairs (HEA) and development programming through three sectors: Health & WASH, Child Protection & Education, and Resilience & Livelihoods.

World Vision Rwanda, through the THRIVE 2030 program, aims to support 324,010 households (1,360,841 people) to build improved, resilient, and sustainable livelihoods by 2030. The program integrates the Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) and Building Secure Livelihoods (BSL) approaches to deliver a comprehensive economic empowerment pathway.

Under THRIVE 2030, producer groups, Savings for Transformation (S4T) groups, and livelihood value chains are strengthened to ensure sustainable income generation, improved food security, enhanced market access, and resilience against shocks. Poultry is one of the priority value chains identified due to its high profitability, quick turnover, and suitability for vulnerable households.
