Ntare Community Farming Ltd (NCF), founded by Viateur Munderere, is a community-rooted agribusiness dedicated to organic, sustainable farming through an integrated model that combines macadamia production with livestock systems based in Karongi District. NCF cultivates macadamia across expanding cooperative farmlands, supported by a high-quality nursery and plans for future processing to increase value addition. Complementing its tree crop operations, NCF is scaling a professional piggery enterprise, breeding and raising pigs under bio-secure, welfare-oriented, and environmentally responsible conditions. The piggery plays a central role in the farm’s circular model, supplying organic manure that enriches macadamia orchards and reduces reliance on chemical inputs. Together with poultry and cattle, the piggery strengthens NCF’s diversified revenue base, creates local employment, and reinforces a resilient, fully organic production ecosystem.
