Angaza Capital is a sustainable investment fund that invests in global-mindset, growth-stage tech companies in Africa solving critical challenges. We currently have a portfolio of 12 companies across healthtech, edtech, agtech, fintech, mobility, and cloud communications.

As a member of our team, you will gain a holistic understanding of sustainable tech investing from sector mapping, deal origination, diligence, and execution to value creation in portfolio companies. You will work collaboratively with our team to evaluate and execute investment opportunities and drive growth within our portfolio companies.

Responsibilities 

  • Researching various sectors and subsectors within our target verticals (healthtech, edtech, agtech, and mobility/logistics), writing reports, and providing deep-dive analysis.
  • Contributing to our deal evaluation and execution process, including financial and competitive analysis, market sizing, commercial due diligence, and preparing internal investment recommendations for the Investment Committee.
  • Working closely with portfolio companies to drive value-creation initiatives and manage reporting, oversight, and operations.
  • Contributing to fund marketing efforts which are directed to both our external community and investors.
  • Helping to maintain internal databases. 

Qualifications

Proven passion for startups, technology, and investments.
• Research driven individual with knowledge in finance, economics, or business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• MS Office and financial analysis skills.
