The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all Zamura related equipment, Machinery, Motor vehicles and Facility.
Reports to: ZAMURA Managing Director (MD)
Supervises: Maintenance Officers, Mechanics
Works with-Internal: Live Production, Feed mill, Processing, Sales and Accounting TEAMS

Relates with-External:

Customers, Mechanics and Vendors, Government, Law Enforcement, and community leaders
Summary of Key Job Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct/ supervise all maintenance activities of all Zamura related equipment and facilities
  • Conducting CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) and preventive Maintenance to machines to ensure minimum breakdown
  • Work hand in hand/ coordinate with the production team to ensure that they meet their target goal
  • Track and keep records of spare parts inventory, in order to ensure that breakdowns are attended to on time
  • Ensure SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) requirements for personnel and machinery are maintained in the plant at all times
  • Liaise with production team in Planning Maintenance activity
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement efforts at the entire plant
  • Recording and keeping maintenance records accurately and on time
  • Conducting root cause analysis of any breakdown in order to have a lasting solution to avoid continuous repetition of the same breakdown
  • Liaise with the live production team and ensure that the cold chains (freezers, Ice maker) are working and are in good condition
  • Ensure that the company’s vehicles are well maintained and in good condition to be on the road
  • Aid the production team in running the feed-mill machines when called upon
  • Any other duties that may be assigned
Skills/Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate (basic MS office and excel).
  • Candidates should possess good planning skills.
  • Good communication skills (timely, clear and accurate report/feedback).
