Position Summary
The Operations Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations
of Oath Africa in Rwanda. This position will involve a variety of tasks, across field
operations, project management, logistics, business strategy and stakeholder
management.
Responsibilities

- Support the Country Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Rwandan subsidiary, providing administrative and logistical support on all aspects of the local operations
- Support the development and execution of a business plan for the Rwandan market, aligned with Oath Africa’s overall strategy.
- In coordination with the Country Manager, Agronomist and Director of Field Trials manage inventory levels of OSL product and ensure timely replenishment of supplies to support field trials and carbon market projects.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements for OSL product, soil samples and liaise with third-party testing facilities.
- Support efforts towards registration and approval of OSL products in Rwanda; liaise directly with government agencies and officials.
- Identify and liaise with potential clients and partners in the Rwandan agricultural and carbon market sectors, including farmers, cooperatives, corporates, investors, and government agencies.
- Support the Country Manager to monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets and forecasts, and manage costs effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Rwanda, including government officials, industry associations, and research institutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings
- Support the Country Manager to provide regular reports on the performance of the Rwandan operation to senior management.
- Perform general office duties as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of the Rwandan agricultural market and regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices in Rwanda a benefit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
