Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the printing of USAID Gikuriro Kuri Bose SBC tools (Flip books and posters)

Project Overview

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) was awarded a five-year USAID project (Oct 1, 2021 – Sept 30, 2026), the Inclusive Nutrition and Early Childhood Development Program (INECD) known locally as Gikuriro Kuri Bose (GKB). The Program aims to improve the health, functioning, nutritional status, and wellbeing of women of reproductive age (WRA) and children under five years of age (CU5), with an emphasis on the first 1,000 days. The program aims to strengthen the inclusion of children and adults with disabilities as well as improve positive parenting and child development. The primary intervention groups are a) households with children 0-6 years old for ECD services, b) households with children 0-5 years old for nutrition interventions, c) pregnant and lactating women, d) persons with disability, e) all individuals in need of inclusion services, and f) adolescent girls, young women, and women of reproductive age. This activity falls under GKB Activity: 3.4.1.4. Print SBC tools: GKB flip book, posters.

The Scope of Work

Three Stones International Rwanda (TSIR) invites experienced and qualified companies to submit quotations to print high quality 350Flip books (36 A4 sides) and 175 Posters (A1 x 12) to be installed in 175 nurturing care hubs, and 293 posters (A1 x 1 poster) to be installed at selected 131 churches and 162 health centers. The printing company will also transport these materials across 10 GKB Project districts: Ngoma, Kayonza, Rwamagana, Kicukiro, Nyarugenge, Rulindo, Burera, Nyabihu, Nyamasheke and Nyanza districts),In the sites of the Nurturing Care Hubs listed in Annex 2.

These flip books and posters will be useful and allow community members to have access to integrated USAID GKB messages that will contribute to behavior change, supporting the adoption of best practices.

Deliverables

The bidder is expected to create a sample of each poster according to the above highlighted sizes of the tools after being confirmed as the successful bidder, for TSIR to do a quality check. The full 350 Flip books (36 A4 sides) require to be printed on 250 gr Grossy hard cover with soft laminated and 175 Posters (A1 x 12) , 293 posters (A1 x 1), to be printed on banner flat material waterproof and these tools should be in color.

The tools should be printed by 23rd September 2024. The tools should be distributed by 28th of September 2024. A delivery note must be signed by the NCH at each delivery location.

NB: What we need is distribution to the Nurturing Care Hubs as stated, with no requirement for hanging them.

Applications and Submission

Well-printed bids accompanied by three photos of similar work along with letters of recommendation from previous clients, RDB Certificate and Valid RRA Tax Clearance, must reach the Three Stones International Rwanda TSI Rwanda Office, 2nd Floor Iriba House, KK 559 Street, Gikondo, Kicukiro District no later than 17th September 2024 at 10:00am. Late or poorly prepared bids will be rejected and the bids sent electronically will not be accepted.

Bids will be opened in a public session at TSIR Office the same day on 17th September 2024 at 10:30am.
