SUBJECT: Request for Tender (RFT) for the supply of 3 project vehicles
Help a Child (HaC) is an international NGO based in the Netherlands that works in several countries throughout Africa and Asia with the mandate of building the resilience of children, families and communities to affect change in their context. Help a Child works in Rwanda since 2008 and supported children and their families through community based interventions aiming improving wellbeing of children and mothers. HaC is procuring for the supply of 3 Project vehicles – Jeep type – Pick Up double cabin for daily activities. Help a Child Rwanda solicits your proposal for supply of the above-mentioned vehicles in line with the specifications found in this RFT.
- Bids MUST be delivered no later than 06th January 2025 at 11:00 AM local time at the following address:

Quotations should be delivered on the above mentioned addresses in the 1st floor of the building or via email at sostene.rwahama@hacrwanda.org with a copy to jean.claude.nshimiyimana@hacrwanda.org no later than 06th January 2025. The Quotation should mention the vehicle delivery period and that period must be before 31st March 2025.
- Help a Child retains the right to accept or reject any offer/proposal prior to the award of contract and to annul the bidding process and reject all offers at any time.
- General conditions
- Prices are to be quoted in Rwandan Francs.
- The validity of the tender should be at least 30 days.
- Quotations to include all costs of delivery to the Help a Child office address above.
- Proposals must include the following:
- The date of the proposal.
- Signature, name, title, and telephone of the authorised representative of the firm submitting the proposal including the firms mailing address.
- Terms of payment, including prompt payment discounts, if any.
- All other information required in this RFT.
- This RFT does not commit Help a Child to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of proposals, or costs incurred in making necessary studies for the preparation thereof, or to procure or contract for services or supplies. Help a Child reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this RFT and to negotiate with any of the proposers or other firms in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of Help a Child. It also reserves the right to negotiate and award separate or multiple contracts for the elements covered by this RFT in any combination it may deem appropriate, in its sole discretion; modify or exclude any consideration, information or requirement contained in this RFT, and to add new considerations, information or requirements at any stage of the procurement process, including during negotiations with proposers.
- The normal terms of payment of Help a Child are within 10 working days of satisfactory delivery of goods or services and documents in apparent good order. Proposers must therefore clearly specify in their Proposal the payment terms being offered if different from these.
