JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE |
The position maintains various machines and equipment based on SGR LLC policies and procedures. You will be responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance schedules. |
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES |
The responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Assist with Preventive Maintenance: Help conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the café’s equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, structural components, building, grounds and equipment.
- Maintenance support: Proper Maintaining tools needed to perform maintenance on equipment.
- Support Repairs: Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion and aid in performing minor repairs on furniture, fixtures, and infrastructure, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Assist in ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and café policies. Help identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Emergency Assistance: Provide support in responding to maintenance emergencies
- Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records and logs of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Cleaning and Organization: Help ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance areas, storage rooms, and equipment.
- Reporting: Report any issues to the line manager or clients and follows written and verbal instructions from line manager.
- Collaboration: Collaborates with the line manager and contractors as needed.
- Proper use of Tools: Ensures correct use of equipment and tools including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE |
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
