Tender title: Tender for provision of Motor Vehicle Insurance Services

The deadline for submission of bids: 30^th December 2024 at 2:00 pm (Kigali Time).

DUHAMIC-ADRI, is a local non-profit organization based in Kigali which was founded in 1980 and was legally recognized by the Ministerial Order No. 943 of July 12, 1985. Its statutes were amended and accepted by the Ministerial Order No. 025/11 of 21 March 2005.; it has vision of « A rural world responsible for its self-socio-economic development » and the mission is « Supporting integrated development through the initiatives of the rural population in their struggle for self-development.

DUHAMIC-ADRI invites sealed bids from qualified and reputable insurance providers for the provision of motor vehicle insurance services for its fleet of vehicles.

Scope of Services:
The selected insurer will be required to provide:

• Comprehensive insurance coverage.
• Third-party liability coverage.
• Additional services such as roadside assistance, accident recovery, and personal accident cover for drivers and passengers.

Eligibility Criteria:
Interested bidders must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Be licensed and registered as an insurance provider (registration certificate);
2. Have proven experience in motor vehicle insurance with a track record of successful claim settlements;
3. Submit company profiles, including references from at least three (3) trustworthy clients including local NGOs;
4. Proof of other interested services offered to the clients related to this insurance to inform more on the competitive advantage;
5. Demonstrate financial stability and capability to handle claims effectively.

Tender Submission Requirements:

• A detailed proposal, including premiums, coverage details, exclusions, and any additional benefits.
• Evidence of relevant experience and a list of current or past clients.
• All submissions must be in line with the terms and conditions outlined in the tender document.

Submission Deadline:

All completed tender documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Tender for Motor Vehicle Insurance Services” to DUHAMIC-ADRI Kicukiro Head offices no later than Monday December 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM for immediate public (official) opening session in which all interested bidders are invited to participate.

Opening of Tenders:

Tenders will be opened on Monday December 30, 2024 in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend at DUHAMIC-ADRI Kicukiro head offices.
