TENDER NOTICE DESIGN, PRODUCTION, AND SUPPLY OF SUSTAINABLE OUTDOOR SEATING SETS, LOUNGE FURNITURE, AND RECREATION FACILITY FITTINGS FOR UGHE

The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is committed to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community engagement within its campus operations. In alignment with its sustainability goals and circular economy initiatives, UGHE seeks to enhance both its outdoor common areas and indoor student lounges through the provision of functional, creative, durable, and eco-friendly furniture solutions. This tender encompasses two key areas:

LOT 1. Outfitting of the outside common areas that promote innovative reuse of materials and the enhancement of outdoor communal spaces.

LOT 2. Outfitting of the student lounges (Clusters 7 & 8) and the recreation facility aimed at improving comfort, aesthetics, social interaction, and overall student experience.

Through this procurement, UGHE aims to engage qualified suppliers or artisan enterprises capable of delivering high-quality, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally conscious furniture that aligns with the university’s design, durability, and safety standards.

In line with this objective, UGHE invites experienced and reputable companies to submit their proposals for the provision of sustainable outdoor seating sets, as well as furniture and fittings for student lounges and recreation facilities, under the two lots outlined in this tender.

A mandatory site visit will be conducted on 10th Dec 2025 at 11:00 AM at the UGHE Butaro Campus in Burera District. This visit will enable bidders to assess the spaces and fully understand the scope of the work. For site visit coordination, please contact: 0785295442.

All interested and qualified bids must be submitted electronically through the UGHE Procurement System https://ughe.app/eprocurement/index.php no later than 23:59 Kigali time on December 14th, 2025. The results of the public opening session will be available in the eProcurement system starting on December 15th, 2025.
