PROVISION OF ICT TRAINING SERVICES TO GASHORA ETM

With purpose of promoting living conditions of evacuees from Libya hosted in GASHORA ETM, World Vision Rwanda is implementing wash, education, and livelihood to refugees, returnees, asylum seekers and host community project in Gashora ETM under the UNHCR fund in the year of 2025. The major goal of livelihood activities is to facilitate evacuees and host community members to have more income, increased wellbeing, reduced vulnerability and improved food security for evacuees and other population of concern. And the objective of this vocational training is to empower evacuees from Libya based in Gashora ETM in ICT/computer, so that they may be equipped with necessary skills which can help beneficiaries to use skills acquired in looking for jobs or initiate businesses that can contribute to improve their economic conditions for their well-being promotion in Rwanda or elsewhere.

As the implementing organization of RESILIENCE & LIVELIHOODS activities in Gashora ETM center, World Vision Rwanda is looking for 2 qualified people to provide vocational training in the field of ICT/Computer as ICT training facilitators.

One will be working in Vocational training center at GASHORA Sector and another one, will enhance the basic knowledge already acquired in ICT and that will take place at community center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a proposed outline of the vocational training module with the main courses/topics for the specific advertised service in the present TOR;
  • Present a clear and detailed training/facilitation methodology about the respective vocational training indicated in the present TOR;
  • Conduct the vocational training in the respective vocational training (ICT/Computer), The first timing for delivering this service is comprise between the signature of contract by both parties and the end of this year of 2025, that is on 31st December 2025, that could be extended according to the availability of funds;
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports about the attendance/participation of beneficiaries to the respective vocational training (ICT/Computer) and advice WVR accordingly.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The expected qualifications are as follows:

Individual/person:

  1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in ICT/Computer from a recognised School. Having other training certificates in ICT/computer from the specialized training centers can be added value.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in providing vocational training in the respective advertised domain.
  3. Demonstrable expertise in providing vocational training in the respective advertised domain for one person or for groups of persons including young people among the local or the refugee communities.
  4. Being ready and available to provide ICT training in Gashora (eventually in the center surrounding Gashora ETM center).

Having excellent capacities to train in English. Having capacity or languages skills to train ICT/Computer in Arabic and in Tigrinya is an added value.

Eligibility for Application

The submission of bids will be done through WVR e-procurement system. Individuals interested in bidding must express their interest by providing their personal details through this link: ICT-2025.The deadline to express the interest is on 15/04/2025 at 02:00 Pm.

Bidders who will express their interests will be sent an e-mail to access the World Vision International Rwanda e-procurement system (Coupa) where all instructions will be provided.

NB: The training facilitation will be provided for an estimated period starting upon the date of signing the agreement between the facilitator and World vision International Rwanda up to 31st December 2025 with a possibility of extension.
