It is an umbrella organization that groups 10 professional chambers. It was established in December 1999, replacing the former Rwanda Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR HIRING A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TO RENOVATE THE PSF BOARDROOMS AND CHAIRPERSON’S OFFICE

CLIENT: PRIVATE SECTOR FEDERATION (PSF)

1. BIDDING TERMS & QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

The Private Sector Federation (PSF) invites Qualified construction companies or interior design companies to bid by submitting their Technical and financial offers to all or one of the following lots.

1.1. PURPOSE OF THIS TENDER

The Private Sector Federation (PSF) is issuing this tender to identify suitably qualified and experienced companies who are interested in being part of the renovation and beautification of the PSF Boardrooms and Chairperson’s Office. For this purpose, PSF invites qualified companies to submit their proposals in accordance with the requirements of this tender.

2. TERMS OF REFERENCE

The main objective of the assignment is to renovate the following:

  1. Lot 1: PSF VIP Boardroom
  2. Lot 2: PSF Upper Boardroom
  3. Lot 3: Chairperson’s Office.

2.1 Scope of Assignment

The successful construction Company is expected to provide the following for each lot:

  • Submit an attractive and VIP concept for each lot,
  • Submit related bills of quantity for each lot;
  • Submit the design and estimated cost for executive furniture and equipment for each lot;
  • All development should include PSF branding principles;
  • Designs should include safety, electricity, internet and other required AC system;
  • On behalf of the client, apply for the construction permits if need be;
  • Any other assignment related to the scope of this work.

2.2 Site details

  • The site visit is planned on request basis
  • The Upper Boardroom may require reallocation which will include some modification works
  • The site is located at Gatenga, (Expo Grounds) in the city of Kigali.

2.3 QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

Qualified Builder meeting the following criteria may submit the bids:

  1. Having a Head Office in Rwanda or partnership with a registered local company.
  2. The bidding company must have a minimum experience of 5 years’ operating in the field of construction, renovation and beautification in Rwanda.
  3. Evidence of experience of at least 3 projects of comparable scale,
  4. Completed projects recognized or other forms of recognition will be an added value;
  5. The proof of at least 2 confirmed attractive previous projects will add value in the selection.
  6. Construction Company must be a member of the Private Sector Federation or Association of Engineers or Association of Architects.

3. Deliverables

The expected deliverables are:

  1. Completed renovated Boardrooms and Office
  2. Final Concepts
  3. End of the work report.

4. Duration of the assignment

The selected company shall be required to complete the assignment within 45-calendar day’s from the date of signing the contract. However, the duration can be negotiated based on technical requirement.

5. Reporting

The selected company will be reporting to the appointed team by PSF.

6. Mode of submission

Interested firms will submit on line well-bound and separate technical and financial proposals in English not later than Tuesday 29th October 2024 at 4:00pm local time. General site visit shall be mandatory to allow potential bidders to collect additional information.
