Extension of the Deadline to Submit Expressions of Interest for the Pre–Qualification of Contractors for Capacity Building and Construction of Trail Bridges
- Background
Bridges to Prosperity, in partnership with the Government of Rwanda through the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Local Government and Rwanda Polytechnic (RP), is implementing a rural access program aimed at improving safe access through the construction, maintenance, and long-term sustainability of trail bridges across Rwanda.
This program emphasizes:
- Expansion of rural bridge infrastructure
- Capacity building of local contractors and engineers in collaboration with Rwanda Polytechnic (RP)
- Long-term sustainability through training and knowledge transfer
- Purpose of this EOI
The purpose of this Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) is to identify and preselect qualified contractors interested in participating in capacity-building and training activities scheduled for mid-August 2026, in collaboration with Rwanda Polytechnic (RP), as well as upcoming trail bridge construction and maintenance projects. This initiative forms part of the first cycle of a structured contractor development program.
Firms that have already submitted their Expression of Interest are not required to resubmit, unless they wish to do so.
