REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)

Subject: Request for Quotation for Land Boundary Demarcation, Soil Testing, and Environmental Impact Assessment Services

Date: 16 September 2026

We are seeking quotations from qualified and licensed consultants/firms to provide professional services for a proposed development project. Interested bidders are invited to submit their technical and financial quotations for the following services:

1. Land Boundary Demarcation (Gukosoza Imbibi z’Ubutaka)

The consultant shall:

  • Verify land ownership and cadastral information.
  • Conduct a boundary survey of the site.
  • Confirm and mark property boundaries.
  • Install or restore boundary markers where necessary.
  • Provide a survey report and site boundary map with coordinates.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Boundary Survey Report.
  • Site Boundary Map and Coordinates.
  • Boundary Marker Installation Report (where applicable).

2. Soil Testing and Geotechnical Investigation (Gukora Soil Test)

The consultant shall:

  • Conduct site soil sampling and testing.
  • Analyze soil characteristics and bearing capacity.
  • Assess the suitability of the site for construction.
  • Provide recommendations on foundation requirements and geotechnical considerations.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Soil Investigation Report.
  • Laboratory Test Results.
  • Geotechnical Recommendations.

3. Environmental Impact Assessment (Gukora Environmental Impact Analysis)

The consultant shall:

  • Conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify environmental and social impacts associated with the proposed project.
  • Recommend mitigation measures.
  • Prepare the required documentation for submission to relevant authorities.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Environmental Impact Assessment Report.
  • Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP).
  • Support with submission and approval processes where applicable.

Quotation Requirements

Interested firms are requested to submit:

  1. Company Profile.
  2. Valid Registration and Professional Certifications.
  3. Relevant Experience in Similar Assignments.
  4. Technical Approach/Methodology.
  5. Detailed Financial Quotation indicating costs for each service separately.
  6. Proposed Timeline for Completion.
